Recently, coat maker Weatherproof posted a towering billboard advertisement in New York’s Times Square of President Obama wearing one of their jackets. Good idea?
Not when you don’t ask for the President’s permission. The Obama administration has asked Weatherproof to take down the billboard. What will happen to it once removed? Billboards are printed on huge sheets of premium vinyl. Keeping them from the waste stream is important. One alternative to that fate, is to transform [reuse] the vinyl into brilliant, one-of-a-kind consumer products, such as totes, messenger bags and reusable shopping bags. Even though its life in Time’s Square was short lived, it can live on forever. AdVinylize it....it’s Weatherproof!
