transforming billboards for a greener planet

We LOVE the large shopper bags we received from AdVinylize! Not only is the craftsmanship top rate, but you used our banners in ways that are beautiful and artistic. It makes us so happy to be able to put the large volume of recyclable material that we had in our offices to good use. We are using the bags to promote our company, as client gifts, as donations to non-profit organization, and we even filled a few with baby items then wrapped up and gave as shower gifts. There are so many uses and we love the fact they promote sustainable practices and good stewardship. Thanks for being so great to work with!

MINI found out about AdVinylize's creative solution of repurposing used billboards into one-of-a-kind bags at the Opportunity Green conference. We knew right away that we wanted to work with them to create bags for our upcoming MINI Takes the States event this summer (2010). Each bag is unique, just like each MINI, which was the perfect connection for our brands.

Creating bags out of billboard vinyls was a win-win for the Providence Health & Services in Portland, Oregon. Not only did the health system get premium giveaway items but they kept their obsolete advertising vinyls from eventually ending up in a landfill – an effort that supported Providence’s commitment to sustainable, environmentally friendly practices whenever possible. With unique graphics from six different health care advertising messages, the grocery, messenger and cooler bags have been popular items. Providence’s billboard bags have been used as event prizes, for fundraising, and even by patients for carrying heat-sensitive medications. Local media featured Providence’s repurposing of obsolete billboard vinyls in several Earth Day stories in April 2010.

I just wanted you to know that I am a proud and happy owner of one or your large, fabulous, colorful, sturdy vinylized tote bags. It has already been to the community pool, grocery store, dry cleaners and daily to the office! It is a good feeling to know I am using a recycled product.
